September 5 2007 - Arlington Heights, IL – Federated Foodservice, a division of the private brand sales and marketing firm, Federated Group, is pleased to announce the addition of 24 new distributor members so far in 2007.
Joining the Federated Foodservice family earlier in the year were L.A. Edlbeck of Green Bay, WI (1/1/07); Sherwood Food Distributors of Detroit, MI (4/1/07); and Glidewell Distributing Co of Ft. Smith, AZ (4/1/07).
In June, Federated welcomed: 14M International of Chicago, IL; Alliance Paper and Food Service, of Franklin Park, IL; Associated Grocers, Inc. of Baton Rouge; Bonanza Foods in Morganville, NJ; Colorado Sales, Inc. doing business as Chips Distributing out of Denver, CO; Triple C Wholesale in Baltimore, MD; Victory Foods of Cranston, RI; Quality Foods of Lakewood, NJ; J.P. Marketing of Tampa, FL; and ROG Foods out of Antonito, CO.
In July the family grew again, adding Westside Food & Supply of Long Island, NY; All Pro Foodservice, Inc. of Forest Park, GA; Ron’s Produce, Taylorville, IL, CBS Distributing of Charlotte, NC; Clark’s Meat House, Inc. in Riverton, WY; Gulinello’s Towne & Country out of Hudson, NY; Lanning’s Foodservice, Mt. Vernon, OH; Schlabach Distributing of Millersburg, OH; and Zuma & Sons Distributors Corp. of Medley, FL.
Beginning September 1, 2007 Forrest City Grocery of Forrest City, AZ also joined the ranks, along with Grocers Supply Institutional and Convenience Division out of Houston, TX, Winkler, Inc of Dale, IN, Hays Food Systems in Warrenton, MO and Pitco Foods, with locations in Brisbane, San Jose, Sacramento, and Oakland, CA.
Federated Foodservice General Manager, Patti Pacella, credits a strategic reorganization of the division as one reason for the surge of new members. “We have added four strong sales professionals to our team recently,” she notes. Ian Davis, Director of Specialty Channels; Susie Eshet, Director of Sales Central/West; Bernie Peluso, Director of Sales Northeast and Larry Warner, Director of Sales Mid-East/South. “We’re also strengthening our programs and services,” adds Pacella. “Along with the other divisions at Federated Group, we’re helping our distributor members compete, increase efficiencies and enjoy extra leverage in an increasingly competitive environment.” Media Release Contact:
